Kelly Reilly (born 18 July 1977) is an English actress from the UK. Reilly became the first London stage star thanks to her appearance in After Miss Julie in the Donmar Warehouse. In 2003 she received a nomination for an award called the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award as the best actress. The actress is among the youngest candidates to be awarded this prize. In 2005, she won her the Best Newcomer Award for The Russian Dolls at the Cannes Film Festival. Her father Walter Smith was a computer market researcher. Her mother Lora was a therapist. Courtney was a child of her parents throughout the various stages of their divorce, when she aged 7 years old. She has an older sister Jennifer who is an advertising executive. She went to Menlo Atherton High School in Atherton California. She then was graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley California in the year 1985. She was also a part of the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley during her time in high school.
